I have programmed a (theatre) show in LCedit+, using a Lanbox LCM. I was wondering if there's is a way (a key combination or so) to just skip the fading. Some cue's do a long fade (20 seconds for example), and when going through all the cues to check everything, it would be usefull to go a bit faster.

For example: whe are in cue 20.5

- press space to go to next cue (say 20.6)
- the lanbox is in that cue, but fading is still busy (because it is a 20 second fade or so)
- now i would like to give a command that tells the lanbox to finish the fade immediately. I do not want to go to 20.7..
- from there on, I can go to 20.7, which probably also does a fade.. etc.

Is this possible?

Sure :-)

Click on the "disable fading" button (advanced.. , second button from left, below layer list).

Make a Macro "Fades A Off" and a "Fades A On" by recording your button click. You can then use the CLI command e.g. m1 and m2 to turn off and on fades in layer A.

You can make a single key for it by assigning a key to m1 and a key to m2.

Above is a nice example how you can combine Macros, CLI and Keystrokes in LCedit+ :-)

Have fun,
