Absolutely ;-)

I am currently working on a collaboration with a ballet and need to synchronize Sound-, DVD playback and stage lights.
- Is it possible to control (3) Pioneer V7300D players (RS232C protocol, hex and ascii codes to control player I have), directly from the LanBox / LCedit. Or if there is no direct way to do that is there possibly a 3rd party solution anybody is aware of?

With a LanBox-LCX you can control these devices via MIDI or DMX. There are many MIDI controllable devices, but also DMX controlled DVD and shutter are on the market. If you use a show control program on a computer you can control most devices (including LanBox) via serial ports.

- Also, for the sound control, can I send MIDI timecode / commands to control a sequencer playing back a multitrack composition on another computer.

You can not make timecode (well you can make it, but if it's accurate enough is doubtable), but you can send MIDI messages. In the tutorial is a small example of controlling a digital recorder with MMC (MIDI Machine Control) commands.
