I've found that it's not possible to paste custom icons in the group setup window. In the fixtures setup window I have no problems, using the paste command I can change icons. I'm using Mac OS X.3

Umm, you are right. I'll put it on the bug list.

2) I think I have found another little problem, I believe. I'm a theatre lighting designer, and It's very common in theatre to connect 2 or more spotlights at a same circuit at different places of the lightplot. I like to change fixtures icons on the stage window so I can recognize them just as on my Lightplot drawing. I have tried to put 2 single dimmer channel fixtures at different places of the stage window with the same base channel number so if I select one or the other, both spotlights turns on. It apparently works with no problems. But I have found that recording steps, after I have been selecting one or the other on the stage window, sometimes when I click the store button even if that fixture is at 0 it returns to the intensity level it was at the previous cue step. The solution I have been using is to paste a double spotlight icon drawing in a single dimmer channel fixture, so I know I'm turning on 2 spotlights on stage.

Yes, placing two fixtures on the same address can result in discrepancy, as they are updated separately. Using a double icon, plus using the secret "Duplicate View" command, still places a second duplicate icon on your stage ;-) The duplicate view command is in the Edit menu, when you hold the option/alt key pressed when selecting the Edit menu.

This duplicate view was special made for situations like you described, on request of Jon Daggett. :-)
