I am considering several different PC based lighting controllers. So far I like the lanbox the best and I like the LCedit+ software better than the others.

I am having some trouble with something that appears to be simple. I can't seem to make a new layer. I can connect to the demo.lanbox.com lanbox. When I click on Layer->New Layer I get nothing (sometimes I can't even click the new layer link because it is inactive). There is a window that just blinks "No Layer Selected". I can add fixtures and I can adjust them but they seem to forget their settings as soon as I click on a new fixture.

Any ideas?

Be aware that the demo.lanbox.com is (ab-)used by many people, as it public accessible. I just restored layers A-E, so you can do something again ;-) Anyhow to add a layer click in LCedit+, click in the control window on advanced.. triangle. Below the layer list you will find a + button to add a layer, a ID field to name it (A-Z), and a lock button to lock the layer.

BTW The blinking ""No layer selected" will disappear once you click on a layer. I hope you can reach the box via the internet, as our provider has severe network problems at this moment.

Regards,
