Subject[LCtalk] incompatible firmware

Hi
here again

I sent an email yesterday about a non responding lanbox after changing the dmx offset to 1 .

I have now tried to set the dmx-offset back to 0

it responds with this

Exception Traceback:

* NilObjectException
* GlobalsDialog.OKBtn:Action

I now try to erase the lanbox-> FAILED!

I notice it says incompatible firmware in the dialog box

I tried uploading firmware, it goes through all the disconnectedness, fprom hoeha etc untill it gets to the starting up bit which gets cancelled after trying to open the adsp several times.

I press the little-what's this button do?-button for more than five seconds and try to upload the firmware again. Same dead end.

Some other things i noticed: The patch editor has no dmx or channelnumbers in the screen. The lanbox utilities list stays blanco the usage says Usage of LanBox-LC(L)+ memory:

0 of 3968 non volatile memory blocks used.

0 of 1984 volatile memory blocks used.

any suggestions? (apart from the obvious and commerciallly interesting buy a new one)
