On my last show I had two lanboxes running on different PC's controlling different universes as I was using in excess on 512 channels. It's already possible, several customers are doing this. I believe that I can run multipule boxes together - although not to sure how, and I haven't had time to strig a couple of units together to play. Just add another interface to LCedit+, and you can place fixtures (and control them) on both boxes (universes). That said I have a specific application where I need to run a large number of channels within a corporate display with no control interface. The lanbox is the ideal candidate but I need 700 channels (to operate LED Panels) At this moment you can use multiple boxes in LCedit, but each box must running it's own cues (with can be synced between boxes with e.g. MIDI). On the other hand the LanBox-LCX is internally already prepared for 3072 channels, but it has only 1 universe output. We are working on distributed addition in the firmware so that those channels can be picked up by multiple LanBoxes on an Ethernet network. We expect to have this (and more, but that's still secret ;-) somewhere in the first half of 2004.
