Certainly the cue editor, etc, don't allow access to channel numbers above 512... Not yet, but it's provided inside LCedit, while the LCX already can handle up to 3072 light channels. It's limited in global settings in LCedit as there is currently no way to distribute those channels to DMX outputs, but that will change this year.
