I am in the middle of a pantomime run using my Lanbox LCX. Programming with lcedit 3.1X has been problem free. In particular the new cue list editor has proved very useful. I do have one minor problem and, worst luck, it is intermittent. After starting up my Lanbox and PowerBook, I normally type '1.1' in the cue field and then click 'GO'. This ensures all my layers are set in the right cue before starting. I always check that the first few cues run correctly, before returning to my show preset state. Sometimes, after typing '1.1' and clicking 'GO', as described above, the space bar refuses to move me to the next cue. Instead it erases what I have in the cue number field and gives me a blinking 'I' cursor, as if it is expecting text to be typed in the box. I have tried all sorts of things to clear the problem but the only way is to exit lcedit and start it up again. In most cases, everything works fine from that point. This problem has only ever occurred while running through my pre-show rig check and once the space bar starts operating correctly, it never goes wrong subsequently. My show set up consists of a live Lanbox LCX and PowerBook, with a second Lanbox and PowerBook powered up and ready to be used in the event of a Lanbox or PowerBook crash during the show. The problem described above occurs intermittently on both systems, so I strongly suspect it is an lcedit problem. The version of lcedit I am using is 3.1Xp (i.e. the version patched for Panther). Has anyone seen this problem and if so is there a solution? Regards, John
