With SysEx you have full resolution. Well I've seen it's possible, but it's not really working, because of the refreshing inside of Max. Because all the translations are made into Max, and not into an external, when you go too fast, you lose quite a lot of information. So, yes it's working, but only for very slow movements. With a LCX and an USB (or Ethernet) connection, you can set at least 100 channels per DMX frame, but I agree you need to have a "set channels" patch (which uses some externals). I know I'm asking a lot, but an external would be certainly more reliable. Moreover because I would like to use TCP/IP to be wireless, wich is so cool, and then I need a way to get out of Max. Hmm, TCP/IP on wMAX is a different story. I don't think there is an external for it (yet?). I DLed it today, and the spreadsheet is really a good addition to the program. Try also Keystrokes, it's now fully supported on Windows and OS X. ;-)
