I am in need of some information=D6 For an event on november 1 in "het paard" in The Hague, Netherlands i need to connect a lanbox LCX to a Hog1000. I need to do this because we are short on faders on the hog. The lanbox will control all the stage lights, about 20 single dmx channels. The Hog will control all the lights on the floor: 18 moving lights and about 240 single dmx channels. So this is about 220 dmx channels.

You mean hog 220 channels and LCX 240?

Sorry, i meant 40 single channels + 18 yoke's (=3D240 channels) on hog and 20 more on lanbox. But i think the delay time is to much so we will have to make a seperate dmx line for stage lights. More complicated, but much better. :)

-Has the delay caused by frame alignment have a max of 1 frame?

No, normally you have already max 1 packet time (25ms), now add frame time (LCX interval =3D 50mS) + another packet time, so about 100ms > delay.

Isn't the packet time a part of the frame time? 50mS frame time resulting in 20 frames per second?

-Is there any way i can sync the lanbox and hog so the first delay is eliminated? (worldcloack, midi?)

Not with merging.

Someone should design a solution! :)
