Gil,

As a new user i have a question about driving a layer with MIDI : is it possible to have the control of all the DMX values of a layer with one external MIDI controler, and witch is the message ?

For individual control, you use Note On commands. It just depends on what type of controller you are using and what way would work best with that controller's capability.

If using a controller like a PC1600x, you can program hex strings to send the commands... Takes some knowledge of hex and decimal-to-hex conversion, but not too bad once you get into it.
