I'd like to use the pc1600x as a controller for a set of dmx512 dimmer packs. I've read the relevent archive posts and the lanbox-lcx manuals, but can't figure out how to get a simple 1:1 map from midi channel continuous controller to dmx channel fader to work. I do see the lcx is receiving the midi out of the pc1600 (via com port activity light), but otherwise am blind. What does one do to get a midi continuous controller input signal to map to dmx512 channel level output signals? Ideally I would do this stand-alone - no PC connected to the LanBox-LCX (i.e., via USB). If I must have a laptop around that's ok. One option would be to run Max, take the MIDI directly into the PC/Mac serial port, and drive the LanBox out of Max - but that seems to be overkill for the simple task at hand. There must be a way... thanks in advance, Dave Lewis
