Hello Ian,

On your HES power down issue, I use HES fixtures with the LanBox on a regular basis - you must set the shutter channel to "0" after setting any control channel value to effectively latch the setting in. This prevents any accidental transfer of a control value ie. shut down.

One other method I regularily use to shut down my rig of HES fixtures is to disconnect the DMX from the LanBox at the end of the show/night. The loss of DMX at the HES fixures places the fixtures into a default mode which includes lamp shut down after a time out period of approximately 5 minutes.
