Hi all, Some of you may remember my mentioning a long while back that I was beginning work on a version of LCEdit+ written in C++ using Trolltech's Qt framework. I've been making good progress lately on this project and wanted to share a screenshot and let the community know what's up. Here is a comparison between my LCEdit+ (running in OSX native, using Motif widgets, on the left) and the REALBasic LCEdit+: http://mercea.net/~tlipcon/compare.jpg The programs are opening the same CDS Demo Studio file and using the same Library folder as each other. Obviously there is a lot left to do on the Qt version (no Control Window or Interface Configurator done yet, most notably, though a lot of the communications infrastructure is in there). If anyone here is an experienced C++ programmer (even better if you have Qt experience), let me know. I haven't been very good about using CVS, but I did start a sourceforge.net project for this last year. If someone else joins up to help me, I'd certainly update CVS more regularly and probably clean up my code a bit in certain places as well. If anyone would be interested in beta testing this in a few months when it's ready for actaul use, send me an email and I'll note you down somewhere. The aim is to have a program that's usable for real shows by this winter. Being in Qt, it will also run on OSX, Linux, and Windows.
