Please help...

I was trying to upgrade my LanBox-LCX from its' original firmware (1.03 I think) to 1.08 when the computer crashed. I'm not sure why, but I am having trouble loading any firmware into the LanBox now.

I am going from my PC via USB and keep getting :

Starting XModem.. OK
Uploading... NAK.. NAK.. NAK.. NAK.. NAK.. NAK..
Timeout

First try rebooting your PC, and then turn off/on the box. Connect again via LCedit+, an try upload. Be sure you have the right COM port, as it can be different after crash/reboot!

BTW Click on the triangle to see the connection messages, it's now possible saying "in bootstrap" and the refresh indicator on the control panel is orange.

** If you follow Todds tip, PLEASE read the LCX manual, as it is different from a LC+! **
