I'm not 100% sure if this is a good idea, but just in case you're in desparate need of a solution:

If you open up your LanBox (unscrew and slide off the top panel) you can see a little button on the circuit board. I'm guessing that if you press this button (perhaps having to hold it for a little while) that it will clear the memory completely. Then, hopefully, you should be able to upload the new firmware.

Just opened up mine to check. Mine is an LC+, not LCX, so it could be slightly different, but the button is towards the front and standing perpendicular to the PCB itself.
