Subject:  Re: DMX to motion control From:  Scott McLeod Date:  Mon, 16 Jun 2003 20:48:05 +0200 From what I know, you're not allowed to use DMX to trigger any kind of pyrotechnics in a theatre show. Wether it's any different through, for fireworks, I don't know. You could probably legitimately use it to aim flamethrowers on DMX pan/tilt yokes... but for triggering, I don't think so. There are specific pyrotechnics triggering boxes that can be programmed for such a job.
