Well it has been tested by a few theatre customers and they have no complains anymore ;-). Normally you still need the Next step (space bar) to start a Cue. The greatest advantage is now that you can go back to Previous Cue (and it's correct for most situations) if you hit the space too early ;-) Also skipping a Cue is now just a option (alt) space. If you look at the examples it's complex, but it works very well, just try it ;-)

Here are some examples how the new Cue system works:
