Although the absence of a DMX terminator will not always instantly cause
trouble it is good practice to terminate your DMX, and it saves you from the
painful situation of an expensive rig of DMX equipment not functioning
properly because of the lack 1 plug and a resistor costing well, maybe E/$
5,00 ?
Even in our small studio setup (24 pars, 6 intelligent fixtures, 100mtr
cable), we had problems when using low cost mike cable or forgetting the
terminator!
