What I'm doing wrong ? You're not doing anything wrong. It's a problem with terminology, the scripting syntax inherited from the LC+ and - I have to admit - rather poor status indication in this case. In the layer list, "Stopped" means it's a sequence layer that's on step 0. The command "stop engine" is however meant to be resumable, and therefore it won't go to step 0 but rather mess with the layer internally so it will stop sequencing. Unfortunately, LCedit+ currently has no status indication for this. The only thing you see is that the after the step is done, it will not go to the next step but just sit there. The combination "stop engine" and "clear engine" should however have the intended effect: the channels will all be clear, and the engine will not be doing anything anymore. - Matthijs -- Matthijs van Duin -- May the Forth be with you!
