If the extra port is a CTB compatible port you will see it in the serial connection list. Don't expect much faster communication via serial as the bitrate and latency is about the same as MIDI (maybe even a slower!).


Rather than buy the iPrint-LT I would rather wait until I can
buy the newer USB capable Lanbox.
The LanBox-LCX is faster, but remember that the LanBoxes are optimized in speed for sequencing, fading and receiving commands. Feedback to LCedit+ is a low priority process.
