I was wondering if it is OK to use the LanBox in a
room with no heat in the winter to control a Christmas
holiday light show. It will get very cold, 0 degrees F

it not work (I have a LanBox-LC)?
Officially the allowed working temperature is 0-50 Degrees C (non condensing). In practice if you leave the LanBox powered 24/7, it will be far above zero inside the box even at -20 outside temp (NO guaranties ;-). Be sure the box is protected from wind, rain, snow etc, so place it inside a protective box with some ventilation.
