| Overview The LanBox-LCM is a mini DMX controller with a serial (RS232) or MIDI port, IR and display. It's made to run stand-alone, but can also be controlled via the serial or MIDI connection. The LCM is very small, very low cost and very easy to use, yet it supports 512 DMX channels and has the same command set as the LanBox-LCX. IR control & Display |
RS232/MIDI port
The serial port offers a variety of communication options. You can use RS232 (or USB with optional adapter) to edit and trigger your cues with e.g. LCedit+ on a personal computer. Alternative you can use the port in MIDI mode, so you can trigger from MIDI equipment, but also use it to send MIDI messages with the built-in show control actions. Bundled software includes LCedit+ a graphical lighting editor for MacOS, Mac OS X and Windows 2000/XP.
