Beta release 3 of LanBox-LC Plus software
July 1, 2000, Maassluis, NL - CDS advanced technology bv announces the third beta release of the LanBox-LC+ software bundle. The free upgrade enhances the "mini LCedit+", lighting editor and maintenance program for Macintosh as well as for Windows, in many ways.
Mostly new features are added to the "mini" LCedit+ lighting editor:
* A stage window where you can create and organize your lighting groups.
* The groups can represented by small or large icons, or just labels.
* A background picture can be pasted and moved on the stage.
* Instead of a single settings file, you can now have unlimited project files.
* Project files not only save groups, but also window positions and the views.
* The connection to the LanBox is reestablished when you open the project.
* Multiple engine, group, monitor and script editor windows support.
* The sticky floaters for easy positioning, and can be "locked" into a view.
* Backups are now tab-separated files, compatible with spreadsheet programs.
* The quick guide and reference guide have been extended and updated.
* The decimal point bug has been solved.
* And more.
The LanBox-LC+ software has many exciting features:
* 500 cue-lists of max 99 steps.
* 8 independent layered sequencers.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
The LanBox-LC+ is a 250 channel DMX-512 lighting controller, with built in sequencers, faders, patchers, etc. The LanBox-LC+ can communicate with the lighting editor LCedit+ via MIDI, serial or an AppleTalk network. Lighting programs are stored and executed in the box, and can be synchronized through MIDI, MIDI Show Control, serial ASCII and Network commands.
