First beta release of LanBox-LC+ software
FIRST BETA RELEASE OF THE LANBOX-LC PLUS, DMX LIGHTING CONTROL SOFTWARE
April 15, 2000, Maassluis, NL - CDS advanced technology bv announces the first beta release of the LanBox-LC+ software bundle. The free upgrade enhances the LanBox-LC firmware in many ways and comes with mini LCedit+, a basic lighting editor and maintenance program for Macintosh as well as for Windows.
The LanBox-LC+ software has many new exciting features like:
* 500 cue-lists of max 99 steps.
* 8 independent layered sequencers.
* Variable unlimited grouping of light channels.
* Chase up, down, bouncing and randomly.
* Any cue-list can be used as chase pattern.
* Reference and relative light scenes.
* 250 16 bit faders.
* User definable curves.
* Slope limiting.
* DMX soft patcher.

Another major step forward is the expanded MIDI implementation. Just about every aspect of the LanBox-LC+ can now be controlled through MIDI. Together with a MIDI command station like the Peavey PC1600x or a MIDI sequencer, the LanBox-LC+ is the ideal choice for DMX lighting control in the MIDI world.
Many of these new features are targeted at the professional theatre and stage lighting world. Past releases have generated a lot of interest from this community, but also some questions and requests. This version accommodates a lot of the requirements that this particular operating environment requires.

ABOUT THE PRODUCTS
The LanBox-LC+ is a 250 channel DMX-512 lighting controller, with built in sequencers, faders, patchers, etc. The LanBox-LC+ can communicate with the lighting editor LCedit+ via MIDI, serial or an AppleTalk network. Lighting programs are stored and executed in the box, and can be synchronized through MIDI, MIDI Show Control, serial ASCII and Network commands.
